Can't find the Salome.py Module to import to Python (Pycharm)

Posted by Chris-tian-l at May 20. 2016

Hi all,

I am trying to import the Salome for Python into my IDE Pycharm. But somehow I cant the module which is required to do this. This would be the salome.py module (http://docs.salome-platform.org/latest/gui/KERNEL/kernel_salome.html). I would really appreciate it, if someone could help me out.

Thanks.

PS: I'm using Windows 10 if this helps.

Hello Christian,

I have also been looking a couple of days to find a solution, but haven't succeeded. Did you succeed or have any more information?

Kind regards,

Mary

I managed to use the MED module from PyCharm, but not the GEOM and the SMESH modules. I would be grateful if someone who managed to do that let me know. That would really speed up the debugging process.
