Dear everybody, 

I am just wondering if the following features which are available in the Geometry module will be moved to the Sketcher ?

  • Basic Properties Diaglog
  • Bounding Box Dialog
  • Inertia Information of Part
 
As far as I got the information in the release note, the Geometry is depreciated and will be replaced subsequently by the Sketcher module, right? Hence, I am wondering, if the above mentioned features will be available in the next releases there too or not?

Hi,

Basic Properties and Bounding Box will be available in the next version (9.7). Inertia information is not planned for now.

Hey Christophe,

thanks for your reply. I read the updates for 9.7 right now. The data for inertia is still available in the Geometry module (I thought this will be depreciated and removed)?

Hi Tobias,

There is no precise version defined to remove the Geometry module. As long as it does not need too much work to update it with new prerequisites versions, we can keep it.
