Is there a way to nest a plugin into an existing menu?

e.g. I am working on plugins to make polygons, slots, etc... I would like to nest the plugin inside of the "Sketch" Feature. I can do so by editing nested in plugin-sketch.xml. Is there a way to do it from a secondary xml? right now I can get it into the "Linear Geometry" group but no further.
